AThe additional documents you mentioned will be considered and evaluated if you are selected for university review.
Therefore, you can submit them directly to the university after the NIIED admissions announcement.

AAs noted in the studyinkorea GKS announcement, the POSTECH overview contains additional documents.

1) Proof of Language Proficiency (Meet at least one of the following requirements, mandatory)
① Satisfy the official English proficiency test score requirement.

② Graduated (or expected to graduate) from an English-speaking university:
Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, Great Britain, South Africa, United States
③ Submit proof of completion of the entire degree program in English.
2) Curriculum Vitae (CV) (free format, mandatory)
3) Prospective Advisor List: up to three preferences (given format, mandatory)

[FAQ] What is the language of instruction at POSTECH?
ARegarding MOI(Medium of Instruction), all graduate programs at POSTECH are taught entirely in English.

[FAQ] Please explain the admission rounds and tracks operated by POSTECH Graduate School.
A- 1. Admissions Process (1st and 2nd rounds):

- 1st round: Applications open from late February to early April
- 2nd round: Applications open from early July to mid-September
Regarding the admissions process, we have our own guidelines.
Applications must be submitted through our university website, and some required documents must be submitted offline.
2. GKS: This is a scholarship process run by NIIED.

* Applications for the GKS process are not available on our university website.
3. K-GKS: This is a scholarship selection process run by Gyeongsangbuk-do Province, and there are no separate track categories.

[FAQ] Do I have to be proficient in the Korean language?
AKorean Language Proficiency is not an essential requirement for application.
However, applicants who have minimum capacity in Korean can be preferred.

[FAQ] How can I get a document for “Proof of Instruction Language”?
AApplicants whose institution performs all of the lectures in English are qualified to substitute the English Proficiency Test with a document that verifies the institution’s instruction language.
If the applicant’s institution does not have such an official document,
he/she can submit other documents (e.g. transcript, enrollment certificate, etc.) with the institution’s original seal
and the following phrase: “It is hereby verified that the instruction language of (institution’s name) is English.”

ANo other English Proficiency Tests can substitute the English Proficiency Tests listed previously.
You have to acquire the minimum score of at least one of the previously indicated tests.
However, if you do possess other English Proficiency Score or certificates, you can submit them along with the compulsory requirements.

[FAQ] Is the Institutional Testing Program (ITP) hosted by institutions other than POSTECH acceptable?
AITP held by other institutions is not acceptable when applying to POSTECH’s graduate program. Only that hosted by POSTECH is valid.

[FAQ] What if I do not meet the required score for English proficiency?
ASince POSTECH’s language of instruction is mainly English, prospective students must reach an average level of English proficiency.
Therefore, all applicants are required to prove their English proficiency through an official test or either a document that proves the instruction language of applicants’ institution.

[FAQ] What if I want to revise my online application?
AApplicants are able to save and revise their online application until the application deadline, even if they finalized the application and paid the application fee. After the deadline is over, it is no longer possible for applicants to edit their application.
